I think it is shaped weird, but maybe it will look different when it is out on the track.

Palmer: "We want pitstops in this racing but we don't want to pay for expensive wheel changing equipment, sets of tyres and refuelling equipment..."

Or at least thats what they're saying. Its a cost saving measure surely. It means F2 teams don't have to employ 20 mechanics to crowd around in pitlane and perform a pitstop, they can get away with one or two overall car mechanics and a team boss....oh and a driver, yet still manage to create the "excitement" of pitstops (I feel sick just typing that! :p )

Im guessing a bit like how A1GP do it, with only about 6 or so guys performing a pitstop?

According to this week's Autosport, Williams is interesting on using the F2 car to launch their own regional championship with MSV. So yet another junior series comingn, it seems...

Those 3 guys are...Wickens is an A1 GP podium finisher and has raced the WSR...Jousse is a WSR race winner, and Ebrahim has raced GP2 Asia...

I was expecting a lot more of Wickens this season. He kinda disappeared while caught in a mess of "I'll do WSR, no wait I'll do F3 Euroseries, no wait..."

I'm going to watch Jason Moore as I do rate him as a driver so will be interested to see how he does.

Palmer said last week that he had received confirmation from 20 drivers that they would like to take part, and that he is approaching the limit on the number of cars he wants to enter, which is 24.

Who knows what names are interested? What we do know is that Red Bull plans to enter 2 cars, so we could have Hartley or Zaugg or the Hammermuller in this series.

I think just before the Wickens announcement italiaracing.net were speculating he could be partnered by Mikhail Aleshin... meaning both of Red Bull's WSR drivers being moved to F2. Not sure if there was any substance to that though.

Ammermuller's an interesting bet, I didn't realise he was still with RB. I thought they had dumped him. Zaugg has disappeared off the map as well bar A1, wouldn't be surprised to see him in there. But I see Hartley moving on up to WSR or GP2 more than going to F2. He's better than that

Just because there are 2 Red Bull cars doesn't mean there will be just 2 Red Bull drivers. All of them could end up there

It'll end up as a very patchy field like IFM has had - some really quick guys and some idiots. Should make for some good racing

Same for Brno too.

Nice to see the name of F2 returning to Imola, Donington, Brands Hatch and Spa though.
