Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Will TK ever regret inviting Rubens for IndyCar? TK: "Damn, he's faster than me....I invited him to become my sidekick and peon given his fame in Ferrari as the fixed number 02...now he's faster than me....oh what have I done" Just kidding but friends friends, business apart.

Its raining at an oval race where the cars could fly off the track at any moment, so lets show the crowd shuffling around for 45 seconds.... :yuk:

great directing.

No wonder they missed the pile up when it was right in front of them.

Remember, this is the same network that cut to Dina Mears when her husband was trying to pass Gordon Johncock in 1982 heading to the white flag.

This is the same network that never saw Fabrizzio Barbazza's spin in the 1987 Indy 500 or even reported it.

This is the same network that cut to a shot above the starter for the 1992 Indy 500 finish instead of letting the camera across the straightaway roll live.

ABC sucks.

Its the disease directors as a whole seem to catch when they sit down to direct some motorsport, they think the average viewer won't understand the drama of the situation unless they see people in the crowd reacting to it.

"OMG, THIS CRASH IS BIG NEWS BUT THE DUMB FANS AT HOME WON'T GET THAT UNLESS I CUT TO A SHOT OF MR BEAN PULLING A FACE...LULZ!"*

Its far too prevelant in modern motorsport and any time there's a pass and then re-pass good dice going on you usually lose most of the counter-attack to a dumb shot of the pit garage celebrating a driver gaining a place he's about to lose again.

(*I could also have gone with "OMG LEWIS IS WORLD CHAMPION BUT THE DUMB FANS AT HOME WON'T UNDERSTAND THAT UNTIL I SHOW NICOLE PUSSYCATDOLLS' TITS BOUNCING UP AND DOWN IN CELEBRATION IN THE PIT LANE ZOMG!!" )

....could do a few of them, tbh! :p

Ever notice the vague similarity in how he and Jim Hellwig look?

Never seen together at the same time...

Guy on TF has a KV source that says Rubens was given a contract to look over.

Those engines sound great. I much prefer those to the high revving screamers in F1.

Vitor Meira won't race indycars this year. Lack of budget to buy a ride. He will race stock cars in Brazil.
