Still nothing official, so apply salt liberally.

Allan Simonson. We were told that he was awake and alert and then that statement came though completely out of the blue :(

Exactly. Car might be strong enough for the impact, but human body might not.

No offense to the Brazilians here but I wouldn't trust what a Brazilian reporter says.

I'm sorry, but I have to remind about something.

Spoiler:
No driver has ever been pronounced dead on the scene, it only happens once he arrives to the hospital and it's DOA or later.

I hope I'm very, very, very wrong.

Yeah, I'm not putting much stock into the reporting. I know from looking at that with my eyes that this is as bad as it gets

It reminded me of Paul Dana's accident unfortunately. Still hoping the best for all involved.

And I will just as always don't say anything about my opinion and just wait. It was horrible accident, I'm shaking like crazy as always when something bad happens. Maybe it will sound very bad to someone, but I am happy to see that this was two car accident, because when first I've saw that crash I was worried that one car was on his roof, second was that splitted in half and third was on the left side of shot. Thankfully it was engine part of Hubert car

And Dan Wheldon's. We saw aftermath pics that were not good...but we had to wait...and wait...drivers seemed to know...weird end...etc...

It could go in many ways. Information being hidden to avoid legal problems, or actually drivers worsening in the aftermath, or they actually getting better.

'Rescued alive' means only 'rescued alive'. Anything other than that is mere speculation and story isn't over because of this.

I’m finding it deeply concerning about the lack of information. Even to say there was an accident bar something that has come out fairly recently. Maybe that’s for the best

Rescued alive means nothing. Might be few final breaths, might be alive but unconscious, might have life threatning injuries like Zanardi at Lausitzring.
