Not for this generation. Frijns was 2 years old when Senna died.

Besides, Senna's dubious activities were premeditated.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Schumacher fault, sure hahaha

btw, I think Frijns is the best driver in 3.5 and I think he deserved the championship.

Whilst the Dutch commentator would make you slit your wrists within the first series of stops :yuk:

Too bad to hear, why is that..? I got some nice feedback that I'm genuine excited and knowledged, so I'm interested why you say that. So I can improve :)

(because as you might know, I'm that guy)

He still had that age when Schumacher ran into Hill....

You were good yesterday, you're probably the only Dutch commentator I prefer over the English ones on Eurosport. So keep up the good work.

I only followed race 1 with your commentary (race 2 on British Eurosport) but I wasn't irritated or something by your commentary. Your really really lively and excited when you work, and that's a good thing I suppose. If there is one problem with the Dutch Eurosport it's those huge commercial chunks that last for 10% of the race.

Navajo (the Megane driver) has been barred for life from all Renault-sanctioned championships and Renault is lobbying for this to be applied to all championships.

Yup.

Toto posted the TV footage a few pages back.

That's perhaps the worst thing I've ever seen in motorsport. Just stunned.

Meh, not that much worse than the DTM race there in 2007.

I'm wondering if the team are going to face any sanctions at all. Can the team prove they did all they could to stop their driver? Did the team in any way instruct the driver to behave like this?

I was also thinking about that... It could have been an 'one-man show' by Navajo, it's hard to believe that the team instruct their drivers to do something like that... Guess they will investigate team-radio?

Post season tests beginning at Barcelona tomorrow.

Some of the interested parties looking to move up next year include Sainz Jr., Jaafar, Daly, Tuscher, Sirotkin and Vandoorne.

Also looks as though Marcus Ericsson will be moving sideways.

Marcus Ericsson on track at Circuit de Catalunya

Marcus will be driving a WSR Formula Renault 3.5 tomorrow in Barcelona. Being an experienced and skilled driver P1 Motorsport asked him to help develop the settings of the car for the 2013 season. The WSR season was conluded in Barcelona last weekend and P1 Motorsport wants to prepare for the upcoming season as soon as possible. What better than to have Marcus driving at the exact track and hopefully exact track conditions from which the team has fresh data just 2 days ago.

Marcus did his seat fitting earlier today and he will be climbing into a WSR 3.5 for the first time tomorrow. One hectic day to learn the new car, new tyres and deliver valuable data to the team. It's a tough job but if anybody is up for it it's Marcus. The WSR 3.5 championship was a tightly fought battle this year with Robin Frijns sealing the title during the last race weekend 4 points in front of Jules Bianchi and 10 points in front of Sam Bird. So, P1 Motorsport and Marcus' goal is to bring the car as close as possible to the times of the top runners during the last race weekend.

The work with the 2013 season for Marcus is progressing and the intention and goal is to line up in GP2. Practically all GP2 teams have expressed their wish to have him as a driver next year but no matter how good a driver you are it's impossible to driver for more than one team :)

It isn't FR3.5 but Felix da Costa took pole at Snetterton for the F3 cup by 9.1s

Pretty bad conditions though. Even Kevin Korjus was 9.9 seconds slower.

Look at the name of the guy in 4th though

How in the name of all that is holy can you be 55 seconds slower over one lap on a track like Snetterton :?

I would say that that can't be a coincidence but he'd have to be ridonkulously young for him to be named after the other Lewis.

The reason why da Costa is beating up on the BTCC grid of 2020 is so he can gain entry to the Macau race.

They're using the 300 course, which is much longer than old Snetterton. Also, it's pretty bloody wet.
