Well, the fact that Andretti is fielding 5 cars for Indy was a pretty good indication he wasn't going to do it this year...Still if he'll do at least one oval would be great... |

Just to get my 500 pick in early... Marco Andretti. Don't even like him, but a good start to the season and the kid is usually pretty fast at Indy. Might be the year the Andretti curse gets lifted, a little bit anyway. |

As for Dixon and Franchitti...well they usually are competitive at Indy but I'm not so sure about this year. |

Fun fact: This years 500 will be the first one run on the day after a full moon, if its run as scheduled. |

The feed sais 66F air. Newgarden is 1st right now with a 219mph lap. Darioand Dixon with 218 and Helio with 216. No other drivers began practicing. Edit: Kimball now in 4th with a 217. Edit2: Kimball in 1st with the first lap above 220mph. |
