Well that's when Sky's coverage starts anyway.

Can't bother with time zones...that's in about 50 minutes?

Dixon: "The League is back!"

I get bitched at every time I say IRL out of habit, how come he gets away with it?

Only true at Indy, the dinky Civic pace car is back now.
Those rallycross cars have a slight edge in power, though. Trucks too.

Sounds like the drivers are having second thoughts over the downforce package they insisted on.

Power clearly looks uncomfortable, Franchitti calm as usual

Tommy Kendal or whatever his name is sticking his foot in his mouth already, 250mph my arse.

If this race goes to shit, the drivers only have themselves to blame.

Dario likes the changes made to the aero yesterday:
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/100247

Quote:
Reigning series champion Franchitti told AUTOSPORT that the final adjustment has struck a perfect balance between making the cars difficult to drive, but retaining enough grip to keep them stable.

"I feel it's quite a good compromise," Franchitti said. "We're really driving it - we're not flat every lap. You've got to pick your line and think, 'oh, my car works here, or oh it doesn't work here'. And if your car doesn't work you're lifting. There's closing speeds of 10, 15mph because their car doesn't work and you get a run on them.

"They've done a great job. IndyCar have not over-reacted, and they've made a small change, which I think is all that was needed. But it's going to be a tough race. I'm looking forward to it, though. And I never thought I'd say that. All we've ever seen here has been pack racing, and I think this is going to be different in a good way."

Ed Carpenter still towing his Daddy's party line about the aero changes, saying he prefers the old style of pack racing.

Anything to do with it being easier Ed, so terrible drivers like you can trick their way into 2nd place finishes without having any talent at all is it?

I just about puked when Ed basically said pack racing=oval racing.

Tommy Kendall is an awesome commentator....made a lot of great points about how the Indycar world woke up from the delusion of pack racing in October and how the drivers won't stand for it any more.

Well, except Ed, anyway.

If they keep TK around I can see him becoming an asset to their coverage.
