There are quite a few drivers knocking around and not enough seats as it stands. Bourdais, Doornbos, P2or Meira and Scheckter (can't see him wanting to stay at a part-time team unless it goes full-time next year) could be/are looking for a drive

Doornbos is looking after a seat, like he was also aiming to participate in the Indy 500. But he's got his eyes on a full season in IRL.

Anyone fancy Ganassi or another team adding a car? If sponsorship can be found I presume Panther might run two, but that's dependent on cash. There's always Vision racing. Wheldon is a proven commodity and would be an asset to any team. Of course, so would PT.

The move of Dario back to the Indycars is welcome though very unexpected. Now if we could just get Hornish back to Penske.

So, driver's looking are Wheldon, Doornbos, Meira, Tracy, Matos(?), Bourdais(?), Scheckter. Who else?

I guess it was expected that Wheldon was to be replaced at Ganassi. In retrospective, apart from his almost brilliant 2006, it's been mostly a disappointing stint. Everyone expected Wheldon to dominate, and looked like doing so in 2007, but then he simply faded.

A real disappointment, and we'll see how he does with Panther. And once again, hopefully Meira can find a ride.

We'll se how Franchitti does as well next year.

Ah, well then, Wheldon's spoken for. Hope he can return Panther to the winner's circle. Next year will definitely be interesting.

At the beggining of this year AJ Foyt wanted to enter another car for Pablo Donoso, but after the merger there were not chassis available and the deal went down. Maybe next year, they will enter that second car, and since it's most likely that Donoso stays for another year in Indy Lights, that could be a ride for any of the drivers looking for one.
