@U2Mike hahaha you are obviously a wanker that doesn't understand racing

@TBPVEL well you are obviously a Dario fan and there's no point talking to a wanker like you

I think he likes the work "wanker".

Seems I missed a massive bitchfest by the Ganassi drivers. Any videos of the incidents?

Sounds like a few drivers are annoyed at the lack of penalties given out too.

I haven't seen the incidents, so take this post with a pinch of salt.

The problem IndyCar has created is similar to NASCAR, in that they want good hard entertaining racing, and when accidents happen (which they will) they don't want to penalise drivers for it, because then it makes them scared to race. It allows drivers to take the piss a bit (by the sound of it, that's what the Dario/Power situation was) and get away with it. So they've essentially OK'd racing like that. But whilst they've OK'd that, they've also decided that defending your position is an offensive so bad that you can be disqualified. Now, is it just me, or is that massively the wrong way around?

So if Dario pushes Power out of the way, Power can be annoyed, but the officials think it's fine. But when Helio defends against Power, Power is allowed to bitch to someone and Helio gets DQ'd from the lead. Seems a tad broken to me.

On the plus side, we finally have a good rivalry in IndyCar.

Trouble is they're inconsistent, remember RHR getting one for turfing Briscoe off at Barber, Marco for instant taking out Servia, Wilson and others was much, much worse then that.

Randy Bernard must be in heaven. He wanted rivalries for PR and thanks to this race he got at least 3.

and here's the Franchitti/Power bit, including Will's Interview

I'd say that's 75/25 Darios fault. He left room for quite a while, then pinched. I don't understand why he pinched, he was never going to come out of that situation well. Granted Dario shouldn't have been there, and should take the majority of the blame, but Power left a cars width until after the mid point. And Power had the left hander coming up and would have held the position anyway.

Darios fault, but a bit of a brain fart for Power. He could have not only avoided it but held the position.

Darios interviewed seemed fine tbh, I don't see the problem with that one.

As much as I dislike seeing him out of a car, Dan Wheldon does a heck of a job as an announcer.

That race lmao. I understand Power's pissed off but that seemed very much like a racing incident to me, but then again, I see a lot of taps as racing incidents.

Power doesn't come out of that interview well, more as a petulant teenager. Dario didn't deliberately try to ram him or anything (why would he, these cars have fragile suspension) so it just makes Will look like a bit of a crybaby. It's open wheel racing on an enclosed street-track, these things happen - and did MULTIPLE times all race. The incident that should have more attention is Danicant almost killing Tagliani by barreling through Jakes.
