LOL

I know I'll be flamed to hell but I find that race a lot faker than any of the DRS stuff in f1.

95% riding around on the rev limiter because they CAN'T pass, last lap the leader is a sitting duck.

Rev limiter racing isn't racing, but now we have a 4-wide finish for the ages for people to scream about "real-racing"

*sigh* More horsepower plz.

OK, flame away.

what are the odds that a 10 car race has a 4 wide finish?

Go watch Handford races. That was exactly the same. You just don't care because it was CART.

Boy that race sucked until the finish!!!!!!!! Great finish but boy they need to make there cars more fun to watch during the entire race not just the finish.

Post subject:  Re: The 97th Indianapolis 500

I honestly didn't expect any of them to exit turn 3, so to get a 4 wide finish was quiet a surprise considering what they're normally like.

 at codename, still bitter eh? both are as fake as each other, just one doesn't proclaim to be the pinnacle of the sport.

Not.....really. I came to CART Post handford when they were playing around with different packages for each oval it seemed. Never quite got it right.

Meh, you can ignore the message because of the messenger all you want, it's just how I feel.

That was a Great finish for a race with only a few cars in it!

Post subject:  Re: The 97th Indianapolis 500

This sort of racing isn't "real" in the same sense as racing F1 cars around Spa is. This is a completely different form of racing, where it's all about being smart and using the draft and planning ahead. It's like motorsport chess. It's very similar to plate racing, and people claim that's not real either. But it's no coincidence that the same drivers are always up front at the end of these races.

It isn't traditional racing, but it sure as shit IS racing. If you don't understand the racing, then it's your loss, nobody elses.
