The Indy Racing League, sanctioning body for the IZOD IndyCar Series, has placed driver Milka Duno on probation through Dec. 31 for not consistently meeting minimal performance standards.

First off...the laughter that shot through the media centre when they were handing out the Milka press release was hilarious...second Simona needs to get her ass into a Ganassi or Penske machine...she did incredible today. The team and the entire grandstand applauded JUST HER when she got out for 7th.

Basically, she's on probation for going too slow on a consistent basis.

Stupid, yet I find it much more reasonable for placing someone on probation for something he might do.

Here are some shots from today.


I will start with another fisheye shot from this morning on the far side of the track. I got a ride out there with that NASCAR shooter and asked about as he wasnt using it. Here is PT ripping out to the back section in practice 3.



Justin Wilson makes his way into the technical turn 2-6 section. One thing I think they messed up on was the straightaway along the from. They moved the turn one grandstand to the pit - turn 13 side. So now, if you look close, there are motorhomes in the background, with peoples skivvy's hanging on their awnings...meh.

Her car is sexy...she is pretty sexy too, she just can't drive. Here is Milka during practice 3, real tight shot. Its a moderately ugly track, so being tight can work best for you.

As I have mentioned, I will get a good wallpaper sized shot up for you all, of none of that Takuma (TAA-koo-mA) Sato and the Lotus, which, I have to agree is one of the sexiest cars on track. Here is all but two shots I have edited up of the Lotus. I will put up the first two requests. The practice one rallying through the grass shot is also eligible, lol.

TK stuffed his car in this section during qualifying, he was not a happy camper this afternoon.

Like I said up there, this is a reasonably ugly track, compared to what we COULD be shooting at, but you have to make the best of it. I have always LOVED the lines at airport tracks. They just look cool!

She is in the picture above but here is a better one. Simona De Silvestro was super impressive today. I am a fan...here she cuts through turn 13 during the quick 12.

Unless she flips or wrecks or takes her clothes off for some reason, this will be the last Danica shots you have to endure. Here is a good wide shot of Turn 13 with Danica cruising through it.

This guy seems to own this place lately. I wish him a win, but would rather see an underdog, as usual...Will Power powered his way to another one.

He was all smiles too...unlike the next fella.

Tony Kanaan didnt get to turn a single lap in qualifying. He will have the hazardous job of staring alongside Milka. He wont be next to her long though. Here he talk about the car with an engineer after qualifying.

The probation isn't really against Duno, but the team as a whole. If they haven't been allowing or willing her to go fast, now they have to. She used to be decently respectable, and was within what could be considered a safe distance off the back of the grid. Now she's 5 seconds slower than her own times last season - somethings changed, and this probation should hopefully get it changed back.

Can you make a select few of those photos hi-resolution? Would be nice..
