Unfortunately a slower car blocking people in qualifying or narrowly avoiding causing a huge wreck every week is a talking point. If she can keep out of the way it's fair enough but she isn't. When she causes a lead driver to have a serious accident then don't say I didn't tell you so.

Yeaa but as we've pointed out, DCR just seem to give her a car they just bolted together and tell her to drive it while taking her money. The only reason they signed her was to get the money to put Rahal in the car. Last year she was seven second quicker in qualifying then this year, that is down to the car. She really needs to tell them to fuck off and take her money elsewhere.

Also, dangerous? LMP drivers cope with cars being far more off the pace than she ever has been. Most of the IndyCar grid has driven sportcars at some point, and know how to deal with traffic.

it isn't the same. In sportscars, even the worst drivers have the capability to get out of the way, and the sense and ability to do so in an orderly fashion. She acts as if the racetrack is hers and fights everyone who laps her. You can spin it any which way you want, but if dcr has to rely on such a dangerous driver to stay alive, maybe their resources are better used in another series. It's harsh, but it happens

This is also a good point. She's effectively a start and Parker.

Yeaa and pretty much she's getting bugger all out of it except for a bad rep.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about it in that way. Surely she is the one with power over the team? I'd tell them to give me a half decent car or take my money elsewhere.

Still, it's irresponsible for the team to put her in a position where she is becoming a hazard. It does seem that she has been pulling out of the races recently. Is that because she's too slow or were they actual legit retirements?

Only at Iowa did Indycar park her so far as I know. That was in a rebuilt car that went from half a second off the pace to four seconds. I think she's had 'handling' retirements too but I guess you could say they're legit if the team really aren't bothering with her car.

If they're really doing that, there's no way she's dumb enough to accept it. My guess is they're letting her do the adjustments without telling her if she's way off base with them. They aren't helping her along, just doing whatever she asks them to do.

In Iowa, Jenkins said she had been "flagged off the track." Make of that what you will.

She had been, she's lucky Andretti didn't go airborne off the back of her.

Pippa is blaming Dan for spinning out and taking her with him.

Not a bad battle up front considering the field size..
