Judd? No wonder it's as slow as a 1992 Brabbham... To save costs, they'vee proberbly used all the old spare parts from it!

Ironically I decided to watch the ALMS race from Laguna today, just watched the Lotus Evora break down.

Disgusting.

I hope Jay Penske takes them to the cleaners and then everyone else comes in for the scraps.

How on earth can Wiggins keep with the programme now? How can IndyCar justify forcing him to stay?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Indycar aren't forcing anyone to stay with Lotus, Chevy and Honda are stretched to supply any more teams. They've gone beyond their minimum quota, it's not their fault Lotus are complete fuckups.

However it IS IndyCars fault for the ridiculous rules which stated that some teams *had* to be on Lotus in the first place. Essentially, they crippled the poorer teams who went with Lotus with rules they hadn't thought out properly.

Teams where gonna end up with Lotus anyways. Chevy and Honda went into this season believing they only had to field "#" of cars and ended up having to field more because of Lotus.

Indycar underestimated the stupidity and uselessness of Lotus.

Because right now there isn't an alternative.

Don't forget that Michael Shank Racing have a DW12 & had Jay Howard signed to run Indy but Honda/Chevy coudn't supply them with an engine & thats why there not here.

Honda/Chevy went into the year expecting to supply a certain number of teams so produced enough engines to supply these teams + a few more cars for Indy. With Lotus in the mess there in Honda/Chevy are now supplying more teams with more units than expected so there is simply no spare engine's left.

Lotus have not only made themselfs look stupid, They have screwed teams who had Lotus engine's, Screwed there drivers, Screwed some teams/drivers who didn't have or want Lotus engine's as the Honda/Chevy supply is now exhausted, Screwed Indycar & screwed us fans.

And it's a crying shame that some talented drivers are wasting the season tooling around at the back.

Do you know anything about Judd, their history and the reasons why the current engine is lacking in performance? It seems not.

IndyCar did force them to stay after DRR and BHA left; the only reason Dragon was allowed to go is because they filed a lawsuit against Lotus.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Honda and Chevy, far from it because they've supplied more engines more quickly than they expected to have to.

I would suggest it would do HVM a lot of good to sit out a couple of rounds until they had an engine.

Ironicly, I do. I was attempting Sarcastic humour, so I'll facepalm myself and return to the corner :)

It'd be nice if you could just build your own engine and go from there.

Or maybe even show up with a equally-as-strong normally aspirated unit. That was one thing about the old engine rules at Indy in the 80s and 90s. You had options. These guys don't.

Let's face it - HVM is screwed and if Nuclear Energy will leave the team then we can say goodbye to Wiggins and Simona in IndyCar.

Lotus have an update on the way which will give them a bit more power, Although it's not expected to make much difference. There not even sure they wil have it ready for qualifying & if they don't qualify with it they won't be able to race with it.

Indycar officials were asked by jouirnalist's about letting Lotus run with more boost to get them above 215mph, However they said they don't plan to do this as its unfair on Honda/Chevy teams.
