Why not get them to stand infront of a big IZOD sign or something? Using someone to just lounge around the the background just seems a bit awkward to me! Oh well.

Good win for RHR, but pretty much a snorefest.

You don't watch Nascar then? they've had trophy girls for about 20 years.

Lloyd's post-race comments were serious bullshit:

Quote:
"I only found out what happened a few minutes ago. I just thought I had a flat tire. I didn't feel any contact. I was running my race. I wasn't going to make it hard for those guys. I had an issue with (Takuma) Sato that put us in that position where we were about to get lapped. When Ryan (Hunter-Reay) got close enough and got a run, I let him by. At the same time, we're trying to stay on the lead lap. We just can't make it easy and back out. Ryan had just got by and at the next corner, Justin must have tried to get down the inside and his front wing hit my right rear tire. That's nowhere near being alongside. I can't run around the outside because of the marbles. If he had just waited a corner and got a good run, I wouldn't have challenged it. He was just impatient and it ended up hurting both of us. Not that our race was going as great as his, but it certainly cost us three or four positions."

So, when he held up RHR for five laps that wasn't close enough? I really wish Rahal was driving full-time for DCR, now Dale has two completely useless and arrogant drivers who can't even get a half-decent result :x

Apparently Versus had their highest indycar ratings ever for this race.

One number claimed a 30% increase in viewership over last year, which had a .5 rating.

This year's race had a .5 rating, peaked at .6 during the race, and averaged 490,000 viewers and a peak of 525,000.

Apperently Milka Duno wasn't allowed to qualify because they wouldn't find it fair for the other drivers in here group  . And here fastest laps during training where slower than the slowest Indy light driver.

Not actually true, btw. 1.18 v 1.19.

Not sure why people expect her to be anywhere near the pack now. It's quite clear from the way the car bounces around over the bumps that it isn't even being setup anymore. She is only there to fund Dale Coyne, that is. You can put Franchitti and Dixon in the same car, they'll still be miles off the pace. Not as bad as Milka of course, but still. Bad driver, bad car, no setup.

She qualified decent on the ovals last year, if she is that far off the pace in Kansas, then she needs to be shelved.

Why don't they just try and copy a setup from her team mate? Or use any data from last year? She might gain some respect if she was only 1 or 2 seconds off the next slowest car.

Indycar has put the entire Indy Lights race on youtube, as well as a number of classic Indycar races.

to be fair, the IndyCar Series needs more viewers, whether it's on TV or the internet
