It doesn't seem like it's the barriers. Some angles showed race director and track workers check something on the ground. It wasn't at a curb either, just tarmac near the edge of a run-off area in sector 1 esses. :?

There was two concrete barrier blocks on the back of a truck there though

it was nice to see a lorry with heavy concrete barriers pressing the brand new tarmac hours before a grand prix
