Race red flagged, a car is on fire in the middle of the track

This was the previous race, I can't see how the barriers were damaged enough so did a recovery truck hit it or something?

It doesn't seem like it's the barriers. Some angles showed race director and track workers check something on the ground. It wasn't at a curb either, just tarmac near the edge of a run-off area in sector 1 esses. :?

There was two concrete barrier blocks on the back of a truck there though

it was nice to see a lorry with heavy concrete barriers pressing the brand new tarmac hours before a grand prix

Bloody Hell, that is going to be a long fix. Replacing three concrete blocks complete with catch fencing. Race cancelling?

Missed this post, this shouldn't be that long to fix? Bahrain repaired worse after Grosjean's accident

Any video of the crash that caused the barrier damage?

That looked nasty. Definitely some debris over the pit wall.
