Funny final laps, pack racing at a street course, epic!! And Danica in the middle of the confusion, as always.

But seriously now, I think it will be difficult to take out Power's title this year.

Most exciting race of the season by far. Exhibition Place rarely disappoints :)

Great run for Power but Justin really fumbled it after that last restart.

Awesome for Simona too, her best result there

I wish Rahal could have tried making a clean move instead of punting me! Guess he doesn't care about championships being a part-timer..

Graham Rahal wrote:
everyone say what you want. i made tons of clean moves today! @RyanBriscoe6 tough race, that's what you get for blocking and braking early!

Ryan Briscoe wrote:
I didn't get the chance to see @GrahamRahal post race but will talk to him in Edmonton. He quite simply screwed up today and can't man up.

Graham Rahal wrote:
my style isn't to hit people, I hope everyone knows that. I had a run, was all the way to the right, and you blocked!

What the fuck ever, I'm sure you were sitting at turn 2 and watched the whole thing unfold. The only facts we know for sure is that Graham made up 2.5 secs in a lap, and that Briscoe complained that his car was undriveable.

And Rahal drove into Briscoe. Kinda undefendable there.

I disagree with Rahal being a bitch. It isn't like he is normally going around driving into cars, however that accident was Rahals fault.

Quote:
The drivers were told during their meeting that if you hold the inside line instead of veering out to take the normal line then it would be considered a block. They are no longer allowed to take a fair defensive line and force the competitor to get inside prior to the braking zone because they can now be penalized for it.

That's a quote from trackforum. Since it looked to be before the braking zone, I think that Rahal miscalculated his run but how was he supposed to know Briscoe was limping?

No I agree, but what's Briscoe meant to do? Brake later and have the accident, because Rahal might hit him? It doesn't work like that. It was Rahals responsibility to not hit Briscoe there - it wasn't like Briscoe braked half way down the straight.

Again - I'm not being too harsh on Rahal. He isn't an asshole, he doesn't drive dirty. He made a mistake. Briscoes being rude about it, but so is Rahal. It's just one of those things - everyone makes mistakes, and when Briscoe causes his next accident (and everyone will eventually), Rahal will be the first to have a laugh about it.

I never said it was Briscoe's fault, I thought it was a racing incident.

Just watched the race, was pretty good stuff; though a horrible stint of back-to-back yellows. Loved how the yellowed any little incident to start with, and by the end, didn't throw yellows for more potential dangerous things!!

Good job Power, shame to see Wilson make a mistake at the end after being so dominant all weekend!
