Very cool. Good to see we have a Dutch generation that actually shows promise. Nigel Melker, Robin Frijns and Nyck de Vries. Let's hope those guys will get us with the stigma of paydrivers and actually get in F1 by talent. |

I always thought Verstappen was unfortunate with the way his career panned out. |

Here's the calendar. It may well be significantly shortened because of Bahrain. Singapore will be fun 23-25 March // Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 20-22 April // Sakhir, Bahrain 26-28 April // Sakhir, Bahrain 11-13 May // Barcelona, Spain 24-26 May // Monte Carlo, Monaco 22-24 June // Valencia, Spain 06-08 July // Silverstone, Great-Britain 20-22 July // Hockenheim, Germany 27-29 July // Budapest, Hungary 31 Aug – 02 September // Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium 07-09 September // Monza, Italy 21-23 September // Singapore, Singapore |

The FIA needs to get out of Bahrain's arse, seriously. It's really not that brilliant. |

Ideal scenario: Both Bahrain races cancelled. One goes to Montreal, the other to Suzuka. I can dream... |

2 back to back Bahrain weekends, fail of the year There are much better circuits even in Asia they could choose from and instead they pick probably the most bland one of the lot |

Confirmed drivers so far: 7 Marcus Ericsson (Swe) iSport 8 Jolyon Palmer (Gbr) iSport 9 Esteban Gutiérrez (Mex) Lotus ART 10 James Calado (GB) Lotus ART 14 Stefano Coletti (Mon) Coloni 15 Kevin Ceccon (Ita) Coloni 16 Stéphane Richelmi (Mon) Trident 17 Julian Leal (Col) Trident 24 Nigel Melker (Ned) Ocean Racing Seems highly likely that it will be Rossi at Caterham alongside either Razia or Valescchi. Clos at Rapax is looking close, while Carlin seem to be keen to give Chilton another year |

Also think Alex Albon (both rivals in KF1) and Nyck will be racing eachother in F1 until they retire. It's going to be a Senna and Prost all over again they're both future F1 WC's. |

I'd wait until at least they get to GP2/F1 by going that far. If you'd believe karting success, Tonio Liuzzi would be a multiple world champion rather than, er, whatever he is now. |

Sato and Jan Magnussen were 2 of the most promising drivers in the junior formulas as well. It's funny how it just doesn't work out for some drivers. |

Worked for a lot of other drivers though as well. Not all karting stars failed, although some have but a lot of really good karters went all the way. Sponsors backing is a key factor as well some couldn't continue. These two are special (Nyck and Alex) and i really expect them to at least reach F1. We will see though. |
