i think it stems from the fact that danica will always have something to bitch and whine about. expects things to always go her way, and while simona has shown shes a bit bummed by all of this she sure as hell hasnt been blaming everyone and their mother for it.

I really do feel Sorry for Simona, especially after her amazing start to the season. The last month must have been horrible for her, but how she's been so wanting to pick up and carry on shows how determined she is (Unlike a certain Ms Patrick), and committed to the series.

I really do hope she gets back on her feet, get back onto the Road tracks, and Regroup for the next lot of ovals.

Why are you callin Danica, undetermined? Of she wasnt determined, would she have gotten outside front row in qualifying? If she wasnt determined, then she wouldnt be racing.

Well, maybe she stalks TBK and decided to prove a point :p

And come on. Ever since they put her in a Nationwide Car, you could tell her heart was set on going over there, in my opinion, because of the increase in GoDaddy dollars. I'm not saying shes a good driver, her performance yesterday proved that, as did Indy. But is she REALLY wanted to become an IndyCar Champion, she'd tell NASCAR to feck off, and learn how to turn right better, as her road performance for one, is still shocking!

Meanwhile: Amazing performance from KV. Screw TNT's Million Dollar Challenge, predicting that would have been a lot LOT harder.

Let's all remember Takuma ran in P3 before throwing it away last year, so it's obvious he likes this track. TK won, and Marco was on the point a lot last year as well, which coulc explain some of Danica's speed (Apart from her of course).

i have to say, looking at the top 4 spots, I'm starting to wih we had another year with this car. It seems that there are becoming more and more guys able to bring it to the guys in Black and Red, and it really is great to see some of these drivers step up to the plate.. This race could be special, it really could...

I get what your sayin now....Only thing is, when a driver puts that helmet on, they have one thing in mind...winning. I can agree with what you said, but only when it comes to the business of her career. The driving part, I garuantee you that she is determined no matter what she hops into.

Weird thought that just hit me....if IROC was still around....would she be in it?

As my corpral in the Air Force taught me.

Prior Planning and Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance (PPPPPPP)

Going off to NASCAR, like she'll do again for a few races, stops her spending some quality time in the simulator, or working with the team to figure out how she can get some better performance from the Road Tracks. Thats my main point. When she puts the helmet down, yes, she does want to get the best she can, if you don't put that effort in before, you'll never get 100% out of the car.

Apparently there was an incident in practice between Sato and Tagliani. Can't find any details other than a couple of tweets from Alex. Seems like the 77 might have been the only one damaged.
