Tony Kanaan is stuck driving as a team mate to two guys who are going to tear up a LOT of equipment, so he is probably just keeping his car in one piece till race day...I hope...

No chance. It is forecast to be sunny.

I'm surprised at Wilson's qualifying performance. Hopefully he can finish well.

I really enjoy watching races at the 17 turn track. Wish I could have stopped at the track when I was in Alabama last fall.

Paul Tracy has decided to go on TrackForum and throw Pagenaud under the bus. PT believes there's no excuse for his poor showing this weekend. Even though Simon has been out of open wheel car for three years. Sounds as if someone's a bit bitter that DRR opted to go with Simon.

Interesting, but why does anyone give credibility to what PT is saying these days?

Cos he's about the only driver that interacts with the fans, albiet not in the best way it seems.

I mean Paul, Trackforum FFS?

Why not a lovely, unbiased forum full of high quality fans of yours like TBK-Lite!?

This Indycar field is becoming ever so competitive, the gap between first and the second to last driver TK is less than one and a half second. Why not impose a 107% or even 105% to bar uncompetitive drivers? I don't really wish to see any competitive cars getting knocked out of qualifying when they might even have a fair chance of winning the race if the field gets any bigger than this.

Yeah, not exactly a home field advantage but I kinda respect him not just hiding on CCFanatics and playing to the crowd.

He could post what he wanted on CCF and all he'd get was 100s of "Amen to that!" and "You tell 'em Paul" so maybe that got tiring for him and he wanted to get out there and...well, goad the away team for a while!

105 % rule HAS been introduced this year in IndyCar :p , but even though with a single-spec formula, the slowest cars will be only about 2,5 secs. off the pace all year and that's well within the limit (only Milka was miles off that in recent years on RC/SC, but she's not coming back).

They're going to do "Wally's World" with Wally Dallenbach after the lights race. :D
