Hope to see Daniel Ricciardo do well, quite a few Aussies have struggled at the last hurdle before F1 (Briscoe/Lowdnes/Skaife/Nguyen/etc) for a myriad of reasons.

Dallara is merely making the Hispania chassis available to the GP2 teams :yuk: :p

I wouldn't be suprised if they would be faster next year.

That car looks better than the one they made for Hispania.

That car is a fucking disgrace, just like the current F1 cars. The proportions are all terrible. Instead of looking fast and looking sexy, it just looks stupid. :(

I should hope so. This one got proper development. HRT didn't pay for development for the F1 chassis, so it went weeks without being worked on.

Hopefully now Bridgestone leaving will make GP2 much more exciting too...

So if Renault do collaborate with Group Lotus in F1 we may well have ART (Group Lotus), DAMS (Renault, ergo Group Lotus) and Team Air Asia (Lotus Racing) in GP2 :p

Some interesting faces in this week's test (using the current cars, not the new ones) so far - Robert Wickens and Jolyon Palmer for iSport, Nathanael Berthon for DAMS and ART, Jake Rosenzweig for Super Nova, Andrea Caldarelli for Racing Engineering, and numerous others

James Jakes was fastest yesterday for Coloni (though Herck was fastest in the morning) and Fabio Leimer was fastest today for Rapax

I had no clue Rossi was a part of that test. Says he was the fastest rookie.

Liemer's signed for Rapax.

What with GL's acquisition of RF1, you have Lotus ART (GL), DAMS (Are they now GL?) and Air Asia (TL). 2 teams under 1 banner?

2011 schedule

Quote:
06/05 TUR Istanbul Park
20/05 ESP Catalunya
26/05 MCO Monaco
25/06 ESP Valencia Ricardo Tormo - External
08/07 GBR Silverstone
22/07 DEU Nürburgring
29/07 HUN Hungaroring
26/08 BEL Spa-Francorchamps
10/09 ITA Monza

no race in Abu Dhabi. Interesting point regarding Valencia as they'll use the Ricardo Tormo Circuit (same weekend as F1!)

Infact, it looks like all F1 supports will be racing there instead :o

Lol that sucks for the fans. I'm sure the flying car played a part with that decision.

Indeed

Instead, GP2 as well as GP3 and the Porsche Supercup will have a stand-alone round at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.

Wow, that GP at Valencia will suck for the fans at the track, nothing else to see than F1.

You know, that just goes to prove F1 is out of touch.

I'd suggest this could be a sign from the men up top that Valencia's days on the F1 calendar are numbered
