Awesome timing for the WTCC races on Eurosport - I have to catch a flight at 9.00am at Edinburgh airport and I live an hour away. I'll just manage to see the races then I'll have to copy their driving style in getting to the airport for check in.

Any chance of a GT, F3, or Motorbikes stream this weekend?

As far as I know, TVB and Starsports will cover the whole weekend. Both channels are available through p2p-tv clinets.

Motoring News 28th November 1990

Had to google ... found this ... :D
[spoiler]25.11.90

MACAU F3:- Flying Finn Mika Hakkinen threw away victory in the Macau Grand Prix when he crashed while needlessly bidding for the lead on the final leg of the race. Having won the opening race he had only to finish second to Michael Schumacher to become overall victor. But he clipped the German trying to overtake at Lisboa Bend and crashed. As the 22 year-old walked away sobbing Schumacher took overall victory. Finn Mika Salo was second in a Camel Ralt.

Eddie Irvine finished third overall in the Macau Grand Prix to underline his billing as one of Britain's leading young racing drivers. The Marlboro Theodore driver finished second and third in the two legs of the season's hardest Formula 3 race. Leading British F3 challenger Steve Robertson was sixth overall in the Bowman Ralt as the fastest lap of the final leg went to Hakkinen. He set a time 2 mins 20.81 secs as he chased Schumacher.

What? Hakkinen threw it away? Michael braked in front of him

At first i thought it was just a case of Hakkinen making a rookie error. But the fact that he hit Schumi with enough force to take off the rear wing suggests that Mika was going a LOT faster at that point. Which can only be down to Schumacher braking (or the worlds most awesome slipstream ever).

Hmm, interesting theory there.

But then again he didn't need to be that close to Schumacher.

Schumacher did let off the throttle, he said that in his post race interview anyway, there's nothing to further argue about, but before knowing that suggesting that he braked wouldn't be too practical either, if you want a situation like that, see Rubens Vs Ralf or Villeneuve on the same circuit before, it wouldn't be as simple as taking a rear wing off, you fly over that car as a matter of fact.

I wonder if the cameramen have improved after previous years appaling efforts? :whistling:

Basically, if it's not a major crash on the first lap when they've got nothing else to show, then it 'aint getting captured. :(

Well, I downloaded some videos from Macau site, there is a lot of F3 crashes captured, crashes that in other years I think they would not get caught on camera, like some crashes in the last turn, so I think that they have improved a bit from last years :)
