Some good news, Simona has been let into the states and will drive in Baltimore.

That is such a terrible design. I don't see the point of having three batteries under the driver, regardless of the motors.

Good, always hated that, Drivers should be allowed to make 1 move to defend the inside line as is the case in most other series.

I actually think Johnny Mowlem made an intresting poist post Toronto that perhaps a part of the reason we see more contact at Toronto & other circuits now is because the driver behind knows the car ahead has to leave the inside lane open & that there always able to stick his/her nose up the inside.

-Lotus is questionable for 2012
-Chevrolet has 10 engine leases filled, Honda has 7-8.
-Four full-time entrants have yet to secure an engine contract and at least three part-time teams wanting to go full-time in 2012 are without engines.
-Honda and Chevrolet aren't keen on supplying more teams.

Hideki Mutoh will apparently drive at Motegi with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, according to a press release from his website. I believe he ran at Motegi last month in Formula Nippon in a one-off entry.

yeah, 10th with one lap down and 15th in grid.

Marshall Puett is also saying that Andretti & GoDaddy want Simona to be Danica's replacement in the team but that she's contracted to HVM for 2012.
