Sky Sports doesn't bother to show the Japan race live so why would they bother with China?

Found out yesterday that MotorsTV showed the sonoma race live. And it looks like they'll show all remaining races live this season

Though I wonder why they bother to do it now when the season is almost over :?

The job done by ESPN International is completely random. They have the rights but they don't seem to bother to sell it to anyone...

That 5-6-7 complex looks fantastic.

Cannon to Panther

Tony Kanaan's loss will be JR Hildebrand's gain. Panther Racing announced via Twitter on Wednesday that it has signed highly rated engineer Michael Cannon. "He will join Technical Director David Cripps to help strengthen our entire staff," the team stated.

Cannon joined KV Racing Technology shortly before the season began to work with its new recruit Tony Kanaan, coming over from HVM Racing where he had worked the past four seasons, most recently with with Simona de Silvestro. Despite apparent success for the Kanaan/Cannon combination, however, the engineer left the team in mid-August, saying that he and Kanaan had "failed to gel."

“We'd go for a session or two and things clicked, then things went off," Cannon told RACER two weeks ago. "We worked well together, then it was contentious. It changed every session. Now, he's remarkably experienced, and his skills in the race are impressive in terms of getting things set up. But the practice and qualifying sessions were awful rocky.”

Cannon's arrival at Panther figures to boost Hildebrand's prospects of winning the Rookie of the Year title. Hildebrand leads the rookie standings, but Newman/Haas Racing's James Hinchcliffe has closed to within three points of him with four races to go.

Are they seriously running turn 5 like that? With concrete on the outside at that angle? That looks like one hell of an accident if someone clips the turn 5 inside wall....

Apart from that yes, that 5-6-7 section looks awesome, even if it is single file.

track looks like itll be awesome! i cant wait. and i agree about it looking narrow and possibly having a massive incident in that 5-6-7 area. hopefully its a bit better walled off than the rendering shows

Seems Indycar are debating the blocking/defending rule.

Hopefully, they look to be getting the fans involved so we should make a very big noise about how bad the rule currently is.

Yay turbocharger whine! Now please tell me that it can rev higher than that and they're just taking it easy in the test??? (Also, the video clip they link on that page reminds me that this new car is really, really ugly)

Yeaa, I'd expect they're not running the engine full pelt just yet.

Still at least it's not as ugly as this car
