People think of broken leg and they think of something like Henrik Larsson or Nelson Piquet, but there's been players completing games not known they'd broken their legs. I think Frentzen "broke" his legs at Canada, but the breaks were so small he won 2 weeks later.

Fabregas completed the Champions' League game against Barcelona with what turned out to be a fracture of his lower leg.

Darrell Waltrip once started a NASCAR race with a broken leg.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Awesome photo. Sucks to be someone in the crowd who is not looking in the right direction in that photo!

Didn't Michael Vick finish the last half of a playoff game on a broken ankle?

Yeah, good race, good race.

I am almost fearful of what might happen in Charlotte to 'out-drama' the first two races of today.

Eff that, I'm afraid of what might happen in the TBK 500.

Officials have decided Marco was passed under yellow by Lloyd, Dixon & Danica.

So Marco's been moved back to 3rd, Lloyd 4th, Dixon 5th & Danica 6th.

It has been confirmed that Conway actually has injuries to his left leg, not his right, which makes sense, as thats where theres a massive hole in the side of the tub. DRR twitter confirms its a broken left leg.

Furthermore, Hunter-Reay also sustained injury; the contact has torn ligaments in his right thumb and will be having surgery tomorrow.

Ok so I'm back at the hotel.

I was listening to Brian Barnhart for the vast majority of the race. There were specific instructions given to drivers in the drivers meeting that they were to remain on the right half of the track unless they were passing. Warnings were given before black flags, which is how I pretty much knew Graham was getting a black flag because of him running on the left half earlier on in the race.

The yellow for debris was for Baguette's mirror, not Power's fuel thing.

I got a shot of Briscoe's car when it was sliding down the front straight, didn't see how he hit the wall since the video screens weren't directly in front of me.

Now, as for where I was sitting, here's pics I took pre race:

Marco was ahead of the crash:

Marco, Lloyd & Dixon are the 1st 3 cars with Hunter-Reay, Conway, Danica & Wilson at the back just before the crash happened.

Not totally surprised considering the way the wheel was yanked out of his hands.

That's a rather unflattering photo. He looks like he's about 45.

Although he probably now does look like he's 45 after the crash.

Check out the IndyCar.com homepage. There's a slight error somewhere.
