Exactly. It's just another excuse for people to bitch and moan about DRS, when in reality people have forgotten what actually happened last year. For instance, the battle between Hamilton and Webber which saw the RBR completely unable to pass the McLaren despite having the DRS aid.

It's clear that the common denominators here are the bitchy teams and the IMS and, unfortunately as an extension of that, the Indy 500. CART really was the way forward but had the wrong kinds of people in charge and ultimately, was horribly executed...despite having some great races, cars, drivers, ...

good point ellis. But I would say even when the drivers were injured, the thinking process would be: "thank god for the modern safety we have now. If not for that, he would be dead". In the end, only kinetic energy and material stiffnesses matter, not what people say or think or feel abou...

Every year like 2012 would be nice, but it doesn't happen. F1 changes, and it needs to change before everything stagnates. Just as an aside, Hadsley + I caught up with Paul Hembery yesterday. junior has some good ideas about dramatically reducing the spoiler at the plate tracks in this article, but i'm pretty sure everybody outside of the "great nascar pr machine" agrees that the racing was mostly non-existent on sunday. http://espn.go.com/racing/nascar/cup/story/_/id/8981233/n...

We get all the races live on sky here, infact I seem to recall a few that were ads free as well, but anyway if I become super duper rich I'll buy Indycar, give the cars low down force, 1000+hp have an awesome calendar and make sure the races are shown ad free, prime time in the US on a major network...
