Check the links in my two previous posts. They're part of the same group so everyone just expects Audi to move away. It's a possibility. Weirder things have happened. Like Citroen vs. Peugeot in WRC. I wouldn't be surprised to see them stay, FWIW. Audi and Porsche are now both iconic marques at Le ...

Why the fuck do you people think a comment on how the race is going to develop is moaning?

For Christ's sake, it's a statement, not a desperate plea to the organizers. He's absolutely right, short straights, lots of corners, and 49 cars on that track means a lot of traffic. Period.

Well our own Brendan Kaczmarek was there marshalling. I may not know a huge about marshalling, or which group was being used for Baltimore, but common sense says you don't stand on the wrong side of the barrier. A bit late on answering this, but... SCCA Marshals are used in the US almost exclusivel...

Well, Nissan spent a year or two developing the GTR for the "new" GT1 regulations, so all their resources went to that (apart from their Super GT stuff obviously). Once the GTR started racing properly they began working with Zytek on the LMP2 engine which runs currently. Since then they've...

For what it's worth - and I'm planning on creating a thread for advice and such http://trackreviewers.com/user-review/24-heures-du-mans-2010/ here's a review my friend wrote from when we went in 2010, it'd be great if anyone here could write up reviews for the site as well :) I meant for my trip in...

Since it was mentioned in the crash videos thread, I'll post it here. Made it onto TV during the race, this was during the long yellow flag while Hindy was giving kudos to the marshals. I'm the dude on the right. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-snc7/480564_10151409378575198_752630197_23542323_13...

Are Radio Le Mans not covering this? Seems weird starting a 24 hour race without them. On Motors TV is seems like David Addison is going to do all 24 hours on his own! :o The organizers refuse to talk to Radio Le Mans. Hasn't been for a lack of trying from RLM's end. Official stream without geo-res...

The expected Pocono news was the top story on the front page of the newspaper this morning here in Allentown, which is one of the primary markets for the track (and about an hour south). Great news to see it getting some proper attention locally.

If you're on Facebook, join the Mulsanne's Corner group. There's lots of good discussion and this particular quote came from the thread regarding the new Porsche: The 2014 regulations change regarding wing shapes mean open splitters will be de rigueur. The wing sections are explained briefly on the ...

For those who are better visual learners, here's the madness that is the current 2014 IMSA schedule. We're still waiting on the Lites, GT3, Ferrari, and Lamborghini calendars, but here's what we're looking at so far. Light blue - feature event Maroon - Split feature event Green - support race Number...
