| I still don't get all the hate for Logano. People bitched that he didn't deliver on the hype in the 20, but with Penske he's proving a consistent winner. He drives well, generally isn't a douche and is legitimately excited when he wins. I was happy to see him get the win. |

| Fact is, it's human nature that when you follow a sport/band/anything for long enough, you "like their old stuff better than their new stuff". If I started watching NASCAR in 2007 I'd probably still think it's pretty great and they're making a good thing better by mixing the chase up. But ... |

| I'll speak for myself in response to zippy's question: there are plenty of people on this forum that came to follow NASCAR and other motorsport at different points in their lives. I've literally been a fan since I was a toddler, so I think the biggest issue for me is just that it's a really hard hab... |

| Yeah, it's validity is skewed because of the context, but I think (for the people who enjoy such discussions) it's still worth noting. The record books will always show Harvick as the champion but anyone who has a few brain cells to rub together and pays attention would know that he didn't quite hav... |

| True... eh I never really cared much for plate qualifying. Except in the mid 90's where they'd be dragging their asses on the straights. That was always fun to see. Back when NASCAR Heat came out, I would qualify at Daytona and Talladega like that. I adjusted my setup to have the rear springs super... |

| Boring? I know it was interrupted by some crashing but they were all fighting tooth and nail to take/protect positions. It was fucking decent, IMO. |
