I don't watch it myself, why would I recommend it?

But even when I watched avidly, I never managed to get anyone to watch. I think it's the kind of sport that is hard to bring people into unless it's something natural within you.

Hopefully this sort of thing will be contained to this gimmick nonsense, or else we'll end up with:

Quote:
"And Sebastian Vettel takes the checkered flag brought to you by UBS! And now, the celebratory post-finish radio message, powered by Claro: "Es simples, es Claro!"

Vergne comes across as a whiny child in the FE radio highlights, I'll love to see everybody complain about that. Anyway, F1's Youtube channel with a very interesting video, showing the directors audio feeds as Vettel crashed in Germany. lCHggit6eGQ Found very interesting the need to show the "s...

If Alonso wins, he still has a shot at 6th place.

I'm not sure how that works as Alonso is 96 points behind 6th placed Ricciardo.

You're right. 7th is what I meant.

And there was the scuttlebutt that Ferrari rejected Ricciardo this year because of his attitude, but it could be made up or exaggerated That surprises me. Ricciardo's dad is Italian, his mother is 2nd generation Italian. He'd be a perfect fit for Ferrari. He'd have to start pronouncing his name the...

The Renault drivers are going to be using special helmets for the 1000th race and I'd wish they' keep them, especially Ricciardo's. I especially enjoy the electric taped-on sponsor and the stone chips. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D33TCUvXoAAZU67.jpg https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D33TCUuXoAEzPQ3.jpg ht...

For those complaining about the commentary or the streams, this was my viewing experience for the first couple of hours:

Let's just appreciate that the sponsor for the race is just a major Ponzi scheme.

Youtube's put up the race highlights and it has an onboard of Giovinazzi's crash, which I don't think it was shown in the world feed. The hit was very strong, his head almost hit the steering wheel and the T-cam got knocked off. (apologies, but Youtube's GUI doesn't go away when a video is paused in...

Personal opinion: I honestly think he may have suffered some sort of spinal injury. The hit was right on top of his head, but I hope to be proven wrong. If that is your "opinion", don't share it. Where you part of the medical team that took care of him? If not, come with confirmed facts o...

Is my understanding correct that the corner where the car is has now disappeared, and we have Ferradura going straight through that yeallo/black barrier and into the complex as we know it currently? Or is the existing corner at the bottom left the current Ferradura? Apart from a couple of corners, ...

 Post subject: F1 Classics thread
Posted: Thu Apr 30, 2020 8:33 pm

Thought this could use a thread of its own. The F1 Youtube channel is uploading 2 classic races a week, which makes up for pretty good quarentine viewing. Here are the full races by order of upload: Bahrain 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiCmz7vOvjw Australia 1986 Q1sVKTvvmCo Monaco 1996 https...

You're absolutely right man, it's pretty disgusting and blatantly obvious to the great lengths they go to sweeping his past under the carpet and talking him up like the next big IndyCar rookie. He's a loud, aggressive, racist, doesn't give a fuck, just look at who's running the country at the momen...
