After 2 years of postponements, Formula E will conclude the 2021-22 World Championship in Seoul. The venue is a circuit laid out around the Olympic Park, including a section within the Olympic Stadium itself. https://assets-prd.formulae.cloud/-/media/images/championship/track-maps/seoul-track-map-s8... |

Schedule news from Pruett; https://racer.com/2022/07/29/next-indycar-schedule-looking-familiar-but-changes-in-the-works-for-24/ The only major changes planned for next year will be St. Pete moving back into March and Texas moving away from the IMSA Sebring weekend. For 2024, a return to Milwaukee no... |

I think there are pictures in the track thread in the general motorsport forum. But IIRC Malmedy has gravel back on the outside, Bruxelles has the same tarmac-gravel setup as Abbey, as does Blanchimont. |

The alternative is the race ending as it did, and I don't think NASCAR want that particular headache. Lot's of confidence I see, to think the restart will be any better with all that's on the line. A shitshow at the advertised distance is (slightly) more desirable than a shitshow derived thro... |

So presumably, Herta, Red Bull, Gasly, Alpine and Liberty are all flooding the FIA's inbox as we speak. It would make complete sense for them to grant force majeure on this occasion, so naturally Stefano "we don't need more teams" Domenicali has spoken out against it. Or, even better, the... |

I can't imagine that the Latifis have lost their fortune (unless they kept it all in Lebanese banks, in which case it probably got lifted today). With the budget cap, and the car now being somewhat competitive, the extra points that a second good driver can score will make up for any money lost by d... |

I do not like it. Pink and orange are difficult bedfellows and the whole thing is just too busy. And it's in aid of a crypto scam, so it feels skeezy that way as well. |

The 2022-23 Formula E World Championship will be the 9th season of the series, and the third world championship. By far the most significant change between this season and last is the introduction of the Gen3 rules package. The new chassis is narrower, shorter and lighter, as are the batteries. The ... |

The sporting regulations have (finally) been firmed up. -The timed races are indeed gone, to be replaced by lap-count affairs (with the BTCC approach to added laps for SCs being yoinked as well). -Attack Mode will initially take the form of 4 minutes of extra power, to be split across 2 windows in a... |

Still produces great racing And this is the nub of what the CrackForum subset of the fanbase fail to grasp. No series introduces a new car for the fun of it. F1 introduced a new set of technical regulations because the old set made for very poor racing (and the new set still relies on the gimmick o... |

Are the new cars really smaller than the old one? There's the tiny feeling of Aussie Racing Cars about them watching them out on track, they look small. Yes. The cars are 70mm narrower, about an inch less tall, and 145mm shorter (130mm of which is from the wheelbase). ------------- Channel 4 will a... |

This weekend sees rounds 2 and 3 of this year's world championship from Diriyah in Saudi Arabia. The significant news since Mexico City is that Frijns will be replaced by Kelvin van der Linde, and the proposed fix for the braking issues does work and will be applied to the cars for these races, much... |
