As I see it technology has created a problem. We have cars that are so aerodynamic nowadays that they couldn't get with 2 seconds before stalling, we had tyres so durable that I believe they could still be racing in Abu Dhabi without any degradation, we have cars so reliable that are we seriously su... |

I'm pleased to see Virgin and McLaren doing well with their normal noses. Not only does the step appear to be an ugly solution, it may also be a rubbish solution. |

1983 is about the only season using the above system, I can see so far where the leader after 4 races has such a low total. Prost would have had 16 points. |

I think it's also worth remembering they are different types of pay-drivers so to speak. They are of course the wealthy titled, a dying breed, who use the family silver to fund get a drive and are probably paid nothing. But the current F1 drivers, the money is not theirs, they are in nearly all case... |

I think everyone's dead/alive line will come at a different point, based on your outlook on life (postive/negative) and what you've got to live for. I think at some points the fear of what life might be like may be worse than the reality. |
