it's been a great race but to be honest i cant believe button has got away with it. I mean, Alonso has been penalized a few races back after having ruined his wing and his race for "unecessary contact" or something like that. Button yesterday took out Hamilton on the straight, took out Alo... |

I think the death's in the 70s had mostly nothing to do with a wet circuit. Rindt, Cévert, Pryce, even the few in the 80s had nothing to do with a wet track. The severe injury of Pironi in 1982 however was related to a wet track. SC start of the race: not needed. We will never see a Senna-esque firs... |

Got back a few hours ago, had a great 3 days. Biggest crowd I've seen at Silverstone in the past couple of years, most of which were going mad for McLaren (myself included). Saw a lot of good battles at Stowe, Massa on Hamilton was immense when they crossed the line, such good atmosphere. Will try a... |

Is it really that shocking? We know Rob Smedley seems to be a bit of a dick anyway - see Spa when he said "Fuck sake Felipe" when Fernando passed him. No doubt he was a great engineer for Massa, but he always seems pissed off. Plus, telling your driver to destroy the race of someone else i... |

How about just letting them start on whatever the hell rubber they want? That's not the problem. The problem is that Renault, Force India or Sauber have to use 3 set of softs to get into Q3. Red Bull, McLaren, Ferrari can only use one set of softs to reach Q3. That's a big difference, if you look a... |

For those expecting Mclaren to end up with a stepped nose to meet the new regs, The nose it was launched with apparently does fully meet the new regulations: http://scarbsf1.wordpress.com/2012/02/02/launch-analysis-mclaren-mercedes-mp4-27/ Also Gary Anderson has this great technical piece on the McL... |
