Post subject: Re: F1 TV Coverage Thread

are there free satellite channels showing F1? As a Belgian, what do you advise me to do? You can watch on the Walloon channel, La Deux. Only 2-3 addbreaks per race. Thanks for the info about Dutch/German! Thanks Alonsomania and cookie, as well ;) I have seen Dutch websites already and it didn't loo...

But the more the sheen of newness wears off the season the more I worry we'll spend the year arguing about saving fuel and reliability rather than anyone being able to do any proper racing. And as soon as we get the things reliable and good looking again (prob 2015), Red Bull showed enough speed to...

There were questions whether F1 would do a minute of silence regarding MH370. Apparently, they will do even more than that. There will be over 100 minutes of silence

don't know if it's appropriate to make a joke with this, sorry if somebody got offended

http://s10.postimg.org/bkjtf6ea1/SHANGHAI.jpg After the action packed Bahrain's GP, Formula One, as has been the case for the past decade, once more visits Shanghai for it's Chinese GP. The circuit is not amongst the fans' favourite tracks but, in all fairness, often provides somewhat good races, w...

seems cooled down, for now This is Monaco and there is always the risk of yellow flags here. Of course, I'm extremely disappointed that I didn't get to finish my lap as I was a couple of tenths up. LH's facebook probably not written by Lewis but that is simply not true. He was around a tenth slower...

But Audi typically makes available onboards from their cars even with telemetry :o

But assuming they wouldn't be to happy with that, ACO should put tv broadcasting as priority. Imagine following the cars from that perspective during the night time at LM?! 8)

British Eurosport commentators seem to lower the world-feed audio whenever the team radio comes up so they can keep talking nonsense & we can't hear the team radio  Happens all the time in F1 broadcasts here  I was hoping for a cracking event but now I'll be satisfied with a fatality...

Paul Henbrey saying the Soft's may only last 5-7 laps. THis is another thing I don't like about Pirelli, they always want make some sort of marketing. This track is very short and doesn't have high speed corners, plus the asphault is brand new and smooth. The softs will likely last for some 15 laps...

I was reading this article which seems to suggest we could be getting wider tyres in the next few years: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117368" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Something about that which I find a bit odd is that they seem to be talking about wider tyres &a...

This whole saga is just a disgrace. To me, as an spectator, this is just great. I'm not excited for what will happen on track, when it comes to F1. I'm not much interested in the pecking order, who will win and etc. Racing wise, I'm much more excited for Formula E this weekend than Australian GP. T...

You can't not vote for Maldonado. But I wonder what Perez did wrong? I think his contact with button was nowhere near his fault and what have Maldonado done wrong? Raikkonen once again goes back to the track without giving a shit about the others(as in Suzuka QLF 2012, Silverstone start last year)....
