Without wanting to repeat myself again from elsewhere on the forum, I just want to echo the general sentiments being expressed here. I just got back from a lengthy walk, thinking about my gran (my mother's mother) who recently died and how I'm going to be sacrificing a day of a trip to Portugal in o...

This one got to me as well, but I must admit that it's sadness mixed with anger. First off, obviously this is terribly sad. Moments like this make everyone sit around wondering why the hell they love the sport so much when it can do this to people and take away husbands from wives and fathers from k...

9/10. The first third was horribly dull as feared, but after Massa's crash everything went mental and we saw Monaco at its best: Huge drama, SCs and red flag, amazing (Sutil) and more desperate (Perez) overtaking attempts, controversial stewards decisions. Even wet race wouldn't probably have been t...

Talking about Pescarolo. Here he is finally explaining the whole situation (no English version yet, use google translate).

It always annoys me that, when something bad happens, decisions are made in a rush without proper thinking. It's a psychological heuristic: recently witnessed event is remembered well and mistakenly thought as often recurring. It's been always clear for everyone that a wheel can get loose and hit th...

It's quite ironic that it's Anthony Davidson who is voicing that opinion, even though it is true.

The kid is flat amazing. I never liked Schumacher, to me there was an air of doushbag around him that I could never get past. Vettel on the other hand, I don't particularly care that he's beating the shit out of everyone every race. Don't like being dominated by a kid? Build a better car and beat him.

I actually agree with Talledega on this. There's nothing wrong with reminiscing but some of the stuff that's been posted in the past few days is in the tone that Schumi is gone. It is somewhat uncomfortable reading.

Why even bother with a 24 hour race if all you really want is a 10 minute sprint? Incredible.

Getting a bit pissed off with people whining about the FIA. They have 1 thing and 1 thing only on their mind, safety. They've done well as we haven't had a driver fatality for close to 20 years. They write the rules but it's how the teams interpret them that makes the cars ugly. I'd rather see ugly...

I went to the Singapore GP but I left my seat before the end of the race so I could get a decent spot for the Katy Perry concert that followed the race. Does that make me a true fan?

Yes, a true Katy Perry fan. :p

Seeing that 2006 car reminds me how hideous all the flick ups where. I'd much prefer the newer cars if they had wider rear wings and smaller front wings, but I think they're better looking still. Well, at least they were until the new noses.

A well formed argument once again. You're too stupid to appreciate the rest of the sport if it's quieter. Fantastic.

Simple things amuse simple people. And now we have the reason you enjoy troll baiting so much. Also, I apologise for my lack of intelligence. I simply thought that either liking or disliking the sound of the power units was a matter a personal taste. You know, something unique to everyone. Now that...
