Didn't buy a paddock or pitpass this year unfortunately and didn't spend very much time in the grandstand today (too cold & rainy) so just hung out there for a while to get some shots at the first & last corner. Hope to get some more tomorrow :) http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/1451/photo4...

Well I didn't get to follow a lot of the race at the circuit but looks like there wasn't a ton of action. Especially compared to Toronto and Nurburgring earlier today. Nevertheless as a fan this was probably my most enjoyable Indy yet. The facilities were great and well laid out. Ample parking avail...

Does somebody know anything about the wheather? Because i will be there, and i wanna know if i need to take a umbrella with me. Hope my man at least makes it to parrabollica unlike last year where i was dissapointed only to see him on parade lap. Better safe than sorry. When I went to Monza in 2008...

What emotions from Alonso after the race today. That was fantastic to see.
Reminded me of Senna's home win in 1991, where he had to ofcourse be driven to the podium in a medical car as well, ofcourse for different reasons.

Just got off work and went down to the track to pick up my tickets for the weekend. It was around 5pm when I got there but I had a 3 day paddock pass so I decided to take a wander through since the circuit was really quiet and figured it would be the least busy time of the weekend in the paddock. Bu...

One of the most dramatic overtaking move of the season.

So Alonso needs to finish in 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Brazil. With Vettel finishing 5th/8th/10th or lower depending on Alonso's finishing position. Either of those 3 scenarios are very possible when you consider mechanical issues, accidents or wet weather. This championship is far from wrapped up...

Another sweet video by Antti. This one looks back at each of the F1 world drivers champions to date:

Actually it does matter. But I guess that makes me and several others look utterly foolish for wanting to see more than 2 cars on the grid be able to race without prematurely wearing out their tires. Oh well, glad to see that at least Paul Hembery acknowledges it. As long as he gets it, I'm fine wi...

Shame it happened in India really. That would have been amazing on the front straight at Interlagos.

They probably would've found some reason to boo him too. I'm glad it happened in India. At least the fans there were gracious enough to give him the deserved appreciation & cheers.

That article was utter rubbish. The journalist picks up some random specialist and asks him to comment on all the possible outcomes. I'm sure the specialist clarified that those were just his speculations. But ofcourse the journalist picks the most dramatic possible outcome (i.e. in permanent coma) ...

Just a random musing here but even though I'm a Vettel fan I don't mind the fact that RBR have come back down to Earth a bit this season but what really pisses me off is Ferrari floundering around trying to be best of the rest when we've got two drivers in Raikkonen & Alonso in the last couple y...

I'm not a Lewis fan by any means (quite the opposite in fact) but I don't quite get all the whiny bitch comments in regards to him today. I was actually surprised by how much restraint he showed today. I honestly expected much worse from him. I fully understand him wanting to DNF as well since he'd ...

So on my way to India, I had a 9 hour layover at Heathrow and decided to relax at the BA T5 executive lounge when a few hours in who walks in...Felipe Massa himself! I couldn't believe it my eyes as he seemed so inconspicuous and unassuming. He sat down at a table right in the open next to me and st...

This track could really use the new ultra soft tyres.

Martin made a good point in the pre-race show about this race being a good preview for what it would be like if we had a tire war in F1 and the tire companies were making ultra durable tires and whether it would improve the racing or not.

Verstappen gets my vote for driver of the day for some of the nicest defensive driving I've seen in a while.

A reprimand? You can't be serious. I say good for him to give the finger to the system after feeling like he was getting fucked over by Verstappen, rather than quietly driving around and simply repeating the politically correct comments of his PR manager to the media. People get so nostalgic about p...
