Has anyone been watching this NASCAR Gridiron stuff on NBCSN with the joe gibbs drivers and football players? They had a 20 lap race at Charlotte on last night that was pretty lol. I'll finally be back behind the wheel at Lucas Oil Raceway "IRP" in July!

Besides the Daytona test I guess you could call it my debut. Really looking forward to it. I'll be driving the #30 for Rette Jones Racing. Running the super late model race that weekend as well.

Apparently there will be another new format for Daytona 500 Qualifying on Sunday; TBA this afternoon.

Also, NASCAR has mandated a MIN speed of 175 mph at all times during practice. Sounds like another group-ish format coming?

Get rid of the GWC policy all together and go back to pre-2004; wreck with 3-4 laps to go and the race is over. :whistling:

For the record ARCA notified every team 2 laps before the final restart that the next caution would end the race because of impending dangerous weather conditions, including lightning and large hail. TV made no mention of it until after the race ending caution came out, and failed to mention weather...

Tearing down the banking, or removing Daytona/Talladega from the schedule would be the equivalent to IndyCar leaving Indianapolis or re-configuring the speedway into a 1 mile oval.

I feel like the Xfinity race should be at night and the Cup race should be during the day, not the other way around. Iono, just my 2 cents.
