Just because they don't have that high pitched screaming noise, doesn't make them silent. Besides, i can imagine track workers have to have ear plugs in. It's a bit sad that there is barely, if any, mention of this in the media. Sure, it was an over enthousiastic action of a marshall, but it was too...

Surely they wouldn't introduce a 'halo' without testing and making sure it passes tests simulating something like Bianchi's situation? It even broke off the roll hoop which has been tested many times. If the halo would survive that it has to be bigger and stronger and probably adds a ton of weight ...

And even worse, there is a culture of not punishing it.

I liked the ITV intro posted above as well.

This one allowed to combine F1 with the Bold and the Beautiful

best intro of course was the universal one, five minutes prior to the grand prix start, which was last seen in Japan 2002.

It was a butterfly effect and the perfect storm situation at the same time really. FOM wants race to be on prime time for Europe. In Japan you must start the race later than in Europe for that reason to get a good audience. FIA has been heavily critisized amongst the fans because of Fuji 2007, Malay...

ricciardo had a chance to pass lewis after the cut. lewis made the door very tight, but i do believe there was a cars width. since it was mostly wet it was useless and daniel had to back off, but was well within the sporting regs. if rosberg can shove a guy completely of the track then certainly lew...

I will have to agree that the old track loses some of its appeal since the cars started reaching high top speeds on a regular basis. Not long ago, it was the only track with Monza that provided speeds exceeding 330kph, nowadays they're hitting that in Hungary :8: I wonder if they kept the forest se...

I only care about them when they have the helmets on. But the anti-hamilton hate has been some of the worst vitriol I've ever seen in F1, Schumacher kind of had the same thing from a minority of fans, (and he kind of did himself no favours it with his blatent low points such as Adelaide 94, Jerez 97...

Another interesting throwback video on the F1 channel. Putting aside criticism of Jacques' performance in anything less than a winning car, he probably deserves more credit for having the balls to prevail against Ferrari/FIArrari that year. Thanks, I was about to post it, not only for the reasons y...

Baby, can you see the halos
You know they're safety fakes
You're everything I don't need and more
It's seen at all the cars
Baby, all I see is the halo
I pray, but it won't go away

Thanks, but it was not necessary to prove my point. Ironies are unnecessary here. It's not a case of "two sides" and fanboys. Nothing happened on the track between the two drivers, nothing they did was evaluated or judged. Masi reached into a pot and pulled out a paper with the champion's...

It wasn't the only planned attack: https://twitter.com/business/status/1507375031856373767 On this conflict The coalition began a military campaign in Yemen in 2015 against the Houthis after they took over the capital and dislodged the internationally recognized government. The war has devolved into...

At least in Finland, the Green Party officially endorses Nuclear Energy nowadays. Took them 30 years to come to their senses, but better late that never. The more nuclear energy, the better. That's my opinion.
