ya...it's fucking beyond me how they came to that conclusion. A much stronger case could be made for him being completely un-penalized than what NASCAR decided.

Heffner had a problem early on. He was 4th, but he had a problem related to an exhaust pipe falling off the truck.

Aren't they not supposed to tear up the car after the race?

Aren't they supposed to award the championship to the best team of the year?

Formula E is a fine concept but the race format is fucking lame. I know some of it is due to battery tech limitations but still...it's meh incarnate.

Garbage. Nowhere most of the year and absolutely backs into the Championship on a day where he was never really in contention.

I respect the talent, both Johnson and Knaus, but this one is a joke.

The length of races is only a problem because the youth of today expect everything to be a available instantly, back when we were kids nothing was instantly accessible and if you wanted to know what happened and didn't have coverage, you either had to watch the news to see if something happened or,...

I prefer sitting with the fans. My brother in law works for the Yankees and I've spent time in the suites there... I prefer sitting with the people that will high five the shit out of the stranger next to them because that might be the only game they get to attend all year.

and with that, this track returns to one date next year

good riddance, place should be firebombed

it's the cars & "major level" series putting on a bad racing product, not the track.

Jesus Christ I hate Denny Hamlin.

Why is it drivers have zero respect for each other and clean racing anymore? Nobody can do a gentle tap on the bumper to loosen somebody up but give them a chance to fight for the position. They just bodyslam each other out of the way or wreck each other.

Anyone other than Truex would have been a farce, NASCAR got lucky their retarded championship system rewarded the right guy.

While the DW12 put on better racing at this track, I loved seeing the cars so difficult to drive and how they look now with the rear wheels exposed again. This is how it should be, for better or worse. Kudos to Power and his engineer. Well deserved.
