As others have pointed out, you can finish first with an illegal car and keep a win. You can Austin Dillon someone and keep a win. But if you go 2" below the yellow, you get put to the end of the lead lap.

It is strange/sad how little I care about the championship anymore.

I get far more excited and anxious watching the shitty Giants or the shitty Rangers struggle to win meaningless regular season games.

I don't mind if this race was "boring." The cars were sliding and that was fun to see. It was genuine.

Got home during the replays. The cameramen need to stop zooming in SO FAR when one car gets out of shape. Been doing this for a while now. No reason to, especially at a plate track.
