The FIA have released there report looking into Bianchi's accident: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2014/12/03/fia-releases-bianchi-crash-report-findings/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; On lap 43 of the Japanese GP, Jules Bianchi lost control of his Marussia in turn seven, and struck a mo...

so Bernie is seeking the return of NA engines, that could be something or not Said he's going to push for 1000bhp V10's to be introduced in 2016 at the next strategy meeting apparently & he seems to believe he'll get majority agreement. Also seems to think that the manufacturer's/teams spending...

Here's a shot from Button's car during FP3 at Interlagos in 2008, Its from when FOM were testing the newer HQ native widescreen camera units which they started to bring in Mid-2009: https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7513/16149538385_373bb64aa4_o.jpg 1st time I recall seeing it show up on the OnBoard ch...

In 2001 Penske sometimes ran a thin strip of carbon on the roll hoop on 1 car I believe for the same purpose:

The stadium section at the Nurburgring may be crap but at least it has produced some interesting bits of racing over the years. I was reading this article which seems to suggest we could be getting wider tyres in the next few years: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117368" onclick="window...

The thing with DRS for me is that I still believe that it was the wrong solution to the problem. Someone above mentioned Push to pass, That would have been a far better solution because its more fair than DRS in that everyone gets to use it x times or for x seconds a race & it can be used to def...

Can't recall if this was mentioned before but Vettel's new helmet is similar to one Michael Schumacher ran when he 1st started karting.

The odd thing about Red Bull's comments is that Renault have repeatedly said that they don't want the engine rules to be changed: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/117996" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Renault were also lets not forget one of the biggest advocates of moving...

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/118221" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Can't come soon enough as there one of my biggest complaints with the series right now because the car changes not only kill the flow of the race but also make things ridiculously confusing at times. A female only series gives attention to those in it but it doesn't really do anything to get rid of the problem that there are a lot of people out there who wrongly in my view believe that women can't compete with the guys. I've always felt that the best thing for female drivers as a whole would be ...

The end of Imola 2005 was great with the Schumacher/Alonso battle, Rest of the race was fairly uneventful & the same was true the following year (Only 1 on track overtake in the 2006 race according to the clip the apex stats). It also reminds me of a part of why I hated refueling, Schumacher wen...

Funny thing about Ide is that, if I'm not mistaken, he's a very respected and accomplished driver on Japanese motorsport. He is, He finished 2nd in the Formula Nippon championship in 2005 & Aguri Suzuki picked him for the F1 team based off what he'd seen of him in Japan. I've always felt that I...

"The races are not as brilliant as they were a decade ago," Yang added. The racing the past few years has been indefinitely better than the racing a decade ago & I think the last couple Chinese Gp's have been great. I don't get the fascination many seem to have with going back to the ...
