What f1 fans think: we like close racing and overtaking in powerful cars that are a driver challenge. Please fia limit topside aerodynamics, give us more engine power and bring the sport back to its roots of classic racers circuits to challenge the drivers. What the fia thinks fans think: fans love ...

Well, he could do what everyone else who started F3 at the same time as him has now done and either move up the ladder or retire.

Discussing a ban on moving from karts straight into F3. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/119677" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; What a stupid idea. The three karters are some of the best-behaved drivers on the grid, whilst Stroll has already competed in three championships...

I disagree that tyres you can push throughout will improve racing. We had tyres for years that could be pushed but there was hardly any overtaking.

Aerodynamics, aerodynamics and once again aerodynamics are the evil that have slowly been destroying F1 since 2000.

so gp2 guys are doing 1.27s at barcelona, that's only 5s slower than the F1 in US tyres, that's pathetic for F1, pathetic. I dont really give 2 fucks about how much slower a GP2 car is. I just want a healthy F1 with a full grid of 26 cars, multiple teams fighting for the win, underdogs like Minardi...

So if Rosberg wins the title can we all say that equality is happening in F1? Or at least for Mercedes.

I quite like this track.

That elevation graph in the original post is hilarious though, there's less than 3m difference between the highest and lowest point, yet that graph makes it seem like a whole lot more based on its track.

Big fat slicks, 3 solid elements (one base plane, one element for left and one element for right) for front wings with no gaps, slots or holes in the elements. 2 element rear wing, uniform shape (no scoops, elements must not dip or rise along the horizontal). No flow conditioners, shark-fins, wingle...

Hartley actually deserves to be on the grid unlike a certain Swede who doesn't even provide the lulz moments. One of the guys who was taking up space is gone, hope the second goes too.

Gasly and Hartley confirmed for 2018.

Can someone please elaborate why Hartley is a full time F1 driver?

Because he placed his signature on a document contracting him to drive a Formula 1 car on a full-time basis.
