I don't think this is a matter of guilty x not guilty. This looks like a power struggle in which the inappropriate behavior is just a tool to justify a decision that wouldn't be justifiable otherwise.

If it's real and legit, my guess would be that whoever leaked it felt that the internal investigation cleared Horner when it "shouldn't" have. I know that still leaves the door wide open for subjectivity and/or more dishonesty from one or multiple parties. But, I can't really think of any...

Likely scenario: Alpine pulls the plug. Andretti is still denied entry. We continue with 18 cars. 2 years later, a new team wants to join but the 9 running teams are against it because the paddock is too small for a 10th team.

Sounds like an amazing trip. Enjoy it! Had a week in the Dolomites last year and loved it. Lago di Sorapis was my highlight, albeit busy when we went.
