Why not reprofile the turn? I suppose you could make the turn slower, but perhaps what we should look at is the how he lost traction and spun as opposed to just concentrating on the corner, runoff and safety barriers. Armco shouldn't be moving anyway. The point in it is to keep a vehicle inside the circuit boundary. It's not really designed to absorb impacts, it's designed to do it's job without damage - something the Le Mans armco is currently very bad at. Those barriers can be against those trees without issue ...

To be fair, they'd start behind the safety car if someone spills their drink on the track. Rain doesn't always make it better these days. :(

The 5 day forecasts tend to change day by day. I wouldn't rule rain out just yet, although it's not looking too hopeful.

Someone said that's the preliminary entry list and more might be added later. Hopefully that's the case but I have no qualms about 30 something quality trucks going for 20 spots either.

Monza has never been nor ever will be anything like nor be a replacement for Hockenheim. Hockenheim was a blast through the forests, whereas Monza is fast but just full of passionate Tifosi.
