I failed to wake up for it, but I get the impression the TBK Commentary™ flattered it somewhat. Be interesting to see which is more of a farce this year - F$rmula 1 or AERO MANIA Indycar.

The Alabama GP had everything F1 lacks: Oh boy, this should be interesting... fast good looking cars, That are still a great deal slower than F1, and covered in the winglets we all hated in 2008... good looking scenery, great track layout On a track that would be completely inappropriate for F1 car...

Except MotoGP bikes don't corner nearly as fast in the first place, and have an awful lot less mass involved once they lose control. I'd be surprised if a rider could even reach the problem wall by running wide like the F1 cars did.

As an aside, seems like another bad luck race for Pippa Mann - two cut tyres and almost caught in the turn 4 wreck. Still, she was running at the flag and is $8,000 over the 50k target for her fundraising.
