Tonight is the last night for the free MavTVPlus broadcasts of the Late Models.
I believe the new app is supposed to be up and working next week. |

People are so outlandishly and unabashedly racist to Bubba Wallace online. Any social media comment he makes is just full of racist dipshits. It makes me sick. Didn't know where to say this but yeah, it's extremely bad. |

I know I’m coming in late here but I’m also getting wrapped up in the discourse over the shoddy coverage. We can debate the issue of showing/withholding footage all day long, but for them to not even mention that a serious accident was the reason for the race to be stopped is inexcusable IMO. It acc... |

Nothing wrong with dirt, but you have to run dirt cars, not asphalt cars with dirt tires. This is why you've never seen one of these truck races on a heavy track with bite in it... And you never will. |

So, they do red flag pit stops in NASCAR on dirt, yet the Big Block Mods do live pit stops with totally amateur volunteer crews on pit lanes 1/3 as wide as Bristol's...
Makes sense. |

Just out of curiousity, if they were to convert it to a permanent dirt track would they need to rip up the asphalt? What's under the surface of a proper dirt track, just more dirt? No, not necessarily, plenty of good dirt tracks were paved at one point and still have their paved surfaces underneath. |

Let's not oversell it, people used to have tyre marks on their helmets every once in a while, or get a wheel traverse the space that is now the shield without contacting them. The shield is very useful against all sorts of otherwise lethal situations, but this isn't one of them. I agree but I think... |

NASCAR is working towards this within the next 10 years I think....

Yeah, dig up the car parks and bring back grass and gravel.
And ditch the chicane on the Mistral Straight |

I love Indycar but it does seem as if it's getting more and more difficult to overtake. Some tracks lend themselves to better racing, and sometimes tyre wear helps, but there have been a few poor races this year. Is the aero kit too reliant on clean air? Obviously it's nowhere near as bad as F1 win... |

I never really respected the entertainment-first approach to racing or any other sport because it always makes the competition more contrived and less meaningful. Racing doesn't exist to entertain us. It exists because people like to compete, and when it's done well and competently, it naturally dra... |
