This is open wheel open cockpit racing. No knee jerk reactions please , it's a formula that's worked for years so 20 mins after a bad accident we dont need a new system debated that will probably cause more issue than solve. That said, all my thoughts and hopes with Justin, I hope we wake up to good...

I don't want to have the debate tonight, let's do this again in a couple of weeks. Open wheel, open cockpit is what indycar is. They already have wheel covers on the cars (which is a complete misunderstanding of the aero problem they had in the first place and is like a sticking plaster on a stab wo...

I agree with NVirkkula. No one has right to tell people to stop doing sports that involve risks. If some people want to do rock climbing without safety equipment, fine. If some people want to race vintage racing cars, fine. If some people want to drive Manx Grand Prix, fine. All these people know th...

The canopy has only one pro, protecting the driver, which is important, but there's many unsolved issues with it and some known cons, mainly the other safety issues that it generates. Everyone knows motorsport is dangerous. And the drivers know and accept that they could die when they drive and op...

No highlight vid, but Stewart Friessen (who's won everything he's touched this year) won the Mr. DirtTrack USA $17,500 to win Tuesday night at Lebanon Valley beating Brett "The Corporate Jet" Hearn when Hearn forgot to pay his fuel bill and ran dry with two to go. Hearn dominated the race ...

Modified race from Bristol last week on NBCSN now. I think it's the only airing of it too.

Thanks for the heads up, I was able to watch this.

Something needs to be done soon before we lose more tracks here soon. One of the several problems this area has is that 85% of the tracks runs on Saturday nights and besides Bowman Gray, all of them run the same type of car too. That along has drivers and teams picking and choosing most of the time...

NASCAR really blew it by not having the low df 1.5 mile package run in the Chase, with most of the tracks being 1.5 milers.

The most frustrating thing to me is that nascar and 95% of the journalists do nothing but praise how much drama it adds. I think Gluck even tweeted yesterday something along the lines of, without the chase yesterday's race would've sucked. EXACTLY!!! THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!! They are using the artific...
