| This is open wheel open cockpit racing. No knee jerk reactions please , it's a formula that's worked for years so 20 mins after a bad accident we dont need a new system debated that will probably cause more issue than solve. | The canopy has only one pro, protecting the driver, which is important, but there's many unsolved issues with it and some known cons, mainly the other safety issues that it generates. | Something needs to be done soon before we lose more tracks here soon. One of the several problems this area has is that 85% of the tracks runs on Saturday nights and besides Bowman Gray, all of them run the same type of car too. That along has drivers and teams picking and choosing most of the time... |
