The 2015 stock car season is just around the corner. This is where the Sprint Cup, Xfinity, Truck, and ARCA pick 'em selections will be made for the duration of the racing season.

Rules are simple:

1. Pick who you think will be the top 5 finishers of the select race(s) for that particular weekend.

2. Points will be awarded if a driver you pick finishes in one of the following:
a. in the exact position you have the driver listed = 2 points
b. in the next position higher or lower you have the driver listed = 1 point

3. Bonus points are awarded for the following:
a. A driver picked wins the pole for the event (must have picks in prior to qualifying to be eligible) = 1 point
b. A driver picked leads a lap = 1 point
c. A driver picked leads the most laps = 1 point
d. A driver picked flips over during the race weekend without serious or fatal injury = 1 point per roll

4. If you submit your picks after qualifying but prior to the race, you won't get the pole winner's bonus point should you choose that driver to finish in the Top 5, but you'll still be eligible for the other bonus points (leading a lap, most laps led, or a flip).

5. If you have to change your picks after qualifying because of a last-second driver change, please submit a new set of picks for that race so you are still eligible to get points. You won't be eligible for the pole-winner's bonus point, but will be eligible for all other bonus points.

6. If you change your picks for a race in your original post after that race's qualifying session has ended, your picks for that race will be disqualified and you will get a zero score for that race.

Wayne, can you clarify what your rules are for the 500? I know when I did it, I didn't penalize points for after qualifying picks because of the unique format. In other words, as long as the picks for the Duels and 500 were in before those actually took the green flag, then no points penalty. Just wanted to clarify that is still the case.
