That was dire.

If the #29 (and others such as the #20) are that good next Sunday it'll be just like last year.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I only saw the last segment, but that looked pretty terrible.

That was worryingly dull.

Harvick just knew where to stick his car at the right time. Smoke would have been in the wall if he tried that.

If Biffle had cut low on the back stretch when Harvick came up, he probably could have gotten the nose alongside him.

Daytona 500 last year and the Talladega race in the spring were similar.

Greg Biffle...

When DW said he was one of the most aggressive drivers in the sport I just laughed.

1st race for the new Gen 6 - not impressed. We are now 2 for 2 for boring races, hopefully this does not become a trend for the year...

Car looked to be okay for racing and passing, but last year's Shootout also had a lot of passing and then in the 500 everybody stalled out.

Sadly the finish was boring coz they waited too long to start racing. Now bring on the modifieds and the K&N cars, they will put on a show on the backstretch.

It was the first race of a new car, and it was on a plate track....relax boys, don't jump off the cliff yet.

That finish was just weird. Like none of the drivers could really be bothered. I'm going to stay cautiously optimistic and wait until the real thing next week before judging the car.

The car looked just fine racing-wise, but the finish was just dull.

Yeah, race overall was fairly average but that finish was anti-climatic.
