If it really was a result of the testing crash, does that mean that she's the first F1 fatality since Senna?

It depends how you define it. Obviously there's been three marshal deaths since Senna, while there's been F1 related deaths at a EuroBOSS meeting running F1 cars.

But yes, I'd say so...

Very sad news, faith was not kind on Maria. Her first ride with F1 car was her last and then she passes away just days before her biography comes out. :(

Was it her first F1 test? I thought she had driven an F1 car before.
Maybe if she had been awake she could have been saved? Very tragic final year and a half of her life.

Ah, yes. But that's not to due with badly undertaken safety measures, which caused most fatalities pre-1994.

Didn't know this yet, too bad for them he's probably got a contract until the end of 2014.

Stefano Domenicali likes to talk about Stefano Domenicali

Quote:
Ferrari failed to beat Red Bull for a fourth consecutive season because of two main factors, according to team boss Stefano Domenicali – neither of which is himself, claims the team chief.

Speaking to the Spanish sports newspaper AS, the Italian denied he is the main problem, ”You wouldn’t change Domenicali and win tomorrow.”

“Sure, my boss could do it, and if he does, I would always be grateful to Ferrari,” said Domenicali. ”But in Italy there is a saying: ‘When you leave the road you know, the other could be worse’.

“The problem is not Domenicali,” he added. “Domenicali is the first to come to work in the morning and the last to leave.

“If we had won in 2012, Domenicali would be a phenomenon, he would have done his job well,” he said

Dutch millionaire and father-in-law of Guido van der Garde, Marcel Boekhoorn might buy into Williams. It's said he might buy the stocks from Toto Wolff.

Boekhoorn himself refused to comment but v/d Garde's manager did confirm it's possible but said buying the stocks should be looked at separately from paying for a driver for v/d Garde

Lotus' prospective backers are close to a deal after a name change.

Sounds very much like Qadbak take two.
