There are bonus points to take into account; pole, leading a lap and most laps led.

50 for a win, 1 bonus point for pole, 2 bonus points for most laps led.

Dario wins the title if he finishes first or second, no matter what happens.

If Dario finishes third and Will gets all 53 points, Will gets the title based on most wins since they would tie on points.

Meh, the reasons for hating Dario apply to Power too. Super team, gifted shit by the rules, arrogant, etc. It's just a toss up on which one you prefer.

Power needs to improve on ovals before he can become an Indycar champion. Anyway, thankfully we will be racing with a new car next year. Old drivers have a huge advantage with that thing since they have been driving it since like 2003.

It's not really a hate towards Dario but more towards Chip Ganassi. Besides when one driver/team combination dominates the silverware it starts to annoy people more then usual. The same happened when Bourdais ruled CART for four years, now he's been cheered on as an underdog in Dale Coyne's car, but when he was winning for NHR everyone was tired of that come 2006/2007. The first Ganassi dominance era wasn't that annoying because there were three drivers that shared the titles back then. Now even Dario's teammate Dixon can't really challenge him and it's all down to Power who this year got hardly any help from his teammates in the title quest.
