About half a dozen cars just fired off the road at the start of the main race, luckily there has been very little damage.

Moffat's now lost one. I think this must be a general problem now.

Percat has lost one at turn 1. This is getting ridiculous now.

Edit that was a suspension failure at turn 3. Still the amount of tire failures is worrying.

Mostert with another one. Pye's went as well a little while back. I've lost count of how many have gone now.

There was about 2 more after Simon fell asleep too, including one leading to a t-bone at turn 3

Have V8 Supercars said they're going to do anything about it?

In short, they've mandated a larger minimum tire pressure and reccomended people use less camber. There's no more sets of tires.

They're also going to put a cone on the pit entry, as a bunch of penalties were handed out for people slightly cutting the entry.
