Who is this "Sam Hornish Jr" they mention? Sounds like a mediocre stock car driver...

How come they only have 1 angle of this crash? Shouldn't all cameras be on the car doing it's run?

I'm sure they have more angles but decided not to show them given the uncertain condition of the driver.

Cool, now all Takuma has to do is to be battling for the lead in the last lap next Sunday AND NOT PUT HIS WHEELS ON THE GRASS AT TURN 1

Yes I'm still a bit sad about it

The media center went silent when Bourdais hit the wall. They were playing the track feed as well as the ESPN feed and the track feed is slightly ahead so that's what I watch. The ESPN audio was bad.

Man, I have to go witness this some day in person or my life won't be complete. Just, the speed and just about everything about it.

You definitely should, it's such a great event.

Good to see Carpenter up the front.

Veach doesn't have a T car so they are still busy repairing the one he smushed yesterday evening.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Zach Veach

Interestingly, only Bourdais was above 231. There's probably nothing to be made of this information, but I'd love to see him recover in a week, start last and bag it in, just because of the damn fine story it would make.

I'm slightly comforted by the fact he left the track in an ambulance compared to a helicopter.

You are correct. Indianapolis is such an experience that it's actually kind of hard to explain.

if it wasn't for the crash, Bourdais would of had pole by a country mile at least.

Phoenix, Indy GP and now today, Bourdais has been on an awful run of luck.
